I cannot load certain pages

This is happening with FireFox and IE7.

I cannot load GMail, my bank site, Mozilla Add-ons, and other various links I've come across.

The page tries to load, and then eventually just times out and says page load error.

Again, this has been happening with both IE7 and Gmail.

Thanks.

Re: I cannot load certain pages

What is the website that you are trying to get to when you go to Gmail. Because, I bet that it has something to do with the fact that the pages are https://, not http://.

I would go into your preferences, and then go to privacy, from there click on settings in the private data section. Then, click on the settings button. This will show all the areas that will be deleted if you clear your private data. Make sure that Authenticated Sessions has a check mark next to, and anything else that you want deleted, then hit ok. Next click on the clear now button. There might be a warning box that pops up asking you if you are sure that you want to do this, just click yes, or ok, and it will clear the data.

Once that is done try to get to gmail or your bank site again, and see if you can reach it.

Cheers!

Re: I cannot load certain pages

The gmail site I try to access shows http://mail.google.com/mail/ in my address bar.

I have already tried clearing all of the private data. No luck.

I do believe it has something to do with secure sites though.

See if you can get to this page: https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin.

Cheers!

Re: I cannot load certain pages

Nope. Just keeps saying Loading... and then eventually times out.

Same for IE7.
