Not responding

Everytime I open Firefox the screen pops out but it's a blank screen and it's not responding. I don't know what caused this. I thought uninstalling it and reinstalling will fix the problem, but after reinstalling firefox, I still had the same problem. It didn't go away. I tried running it on safemode too but still didn't work ethier. The screen still pops out blank and not responding.

Re: Not responding

Are you able to get your email ok? If you are able to get your mail, then I would like you to open a command prompt. Go to start > run > type cmd. This will open a box command prompt.

First type in ping www.google.com then hit enter. This will do a ping test for a few seconds. Once it is done copy an paste what it comes up with on here.
Next type in ping 64.233.169.99 then hit enter. This will do another ping test. Then copy the results up here.

Third type ipconfig /all into the command prompt. This will give you a lot of information. I just want you to copy and paste all of that information on here, and we can look at all of it.

If not it sounds like you aren't online anymore. If that is the case I would recommend doing a power cycle, and see if that works.
To do that first shut down your computer and unplug your modem and router. Leave everything off for about 3-5 minutes. Second plug your modem in and then let it power all the way up. Then plug your router in and let it power all the way up.(if you don't have a router then disreguard this step). Then turn your computer back on and let it fully load up to the desktop. Third open your web browser and see if you are able to connect to the internet.

When that doesn't work you will need to contact your ISP to find out what the problem is.

Cheers!
