Migrating to Ubuntu(And i want to take my FF profile)?
Hey, basically i have my laptop dual-booting off Ubuntu/Vista. I've been using vista since September of last year and have installed quite a few extensions, stockpiled tonnes of(surprisingly organised) bookmarks and messed with my settings to my hearts delight... So instead of starting a fresh i'd rather take my FF profile with me to Ubuntu, Actually what would be preferable would be to share the profile between the two OSes(but that seems unpracticle/impossible[because vista cannot read the etc3 file system]) Still, if someone could guide me through/point me in the direction of somewhere which would guide me through the process of taking my FF profile (from vista) and installing it on the Ubuntu partition's FF i'd be very thankful...
Cheers, Jamey |

Re: Migrating to Ubuntu(And i want to take my FF profile)?
Here is what I came up with from trolling the Ubuntu forums. Sharing Firefox and Thunderbird profile between Windows and Linux
Cheers!
