I'm having such problem but it is a little diferences in my case.
The chronology : I was installing add-on flash pad or whatever that seems to be shortcut as in Opera browser. I had installed a firefox skin before. It is said that firefox had to be restarted again. but when it came, when i was moving my cursor to address box, it was busy (my laptop's using windows vista home premium). I tried to click there, and suddenly the whole page (except the bar with close, minimize and restore down buttons) went grey (transparant grey or white *the skin and toolbar could still be seen), then there is a "not responding" words in the top of the bar and in the taksbar. (Sorry, i dont know its name) I was trying to close the firefox and got a message, "firefox is not responding, if you close the program you might lose informations" I had to choose close the program or wait for the program to respond. I tried wait for the program to respond first, but nothing has happened!!! ![]() Then i chose to close the program!! Please help me... i'm depressed coz the whole week i HAD TO USE IE!! It sucks!!! PLEASE HELP ME.... T~T Greetings, Gretta |

Re: PLZ HELP!!! Firefox not responding after installing add-ons!
Hi Gretta, welcome to TSF
Run Firefox in safe mode (Start > Run > "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -safe-mode) and uninstall the new addon, then restart Firefox in normal mode.
