Firefox 3 Beta 5

for how long can you use firefox 3 beta 5 as your default browser?i know it's for testing purposes,but for how long can you useit?can anyone help?

I don't think there is a limit for using a browser :). However, you should upgrade to the new version once BETA 6 is released.

That is right. Matter of fact, the developers of Ubuntu have it bundled in the newest version. The final release should be out in June I believe.

it should not harm your computer. I currently have have the latest beta installed and having no problems with it other than most addons are not working with it yet.

as with any beta software, there is always the possibility that there could be problems.

Ofcourse it's safe! But it's still a BETA, so there may be some bugs. If you don't like that, you should back use Firefox 2 until Firefox 3 is released.
