Firefox won't load completely

Hi there....I previously had a problem where Firefox doesn't load even though i pressed on a link many times. But after a while, it was fine. Now it's starting yet again. Had reinstalled it but same thing. When it loads, sometimes, ok, most of the times, the pictures do not appear and at times, the website looks like a 'primitive' or 'base' outline of the page. What I meant was that the background etc and certain features do not appear. Tables don't have borders, and even this page is a bit distorted with sentences not in correct placings at times. Any ideas what's going on? Thanks.

What version of Firefox are you running?

Also, go to Firefox Options and make sure you have load images automatically and java and javascript checked.
