Re: Friend uses firefox and cant bold/italic/emoticons in forum reply... PLEASE HELP!

Firstly what happens when she tries to embolden text etc?

Okay, all i can suggest now (i need more info but from guessing i can suggest a few things), go into Tools->Options->contents tab
and make sure that the "enable javascript" checkbox is checked, the "enable java" box shouldn't need to be checked, (java has nothing to do with this, javascript however sounds as if its the problem[ java is not javascript])
Click on the advanced button to the right and check the boxes that enable things there aswell (if you think they're needed)

Hope i helped,
Jamey
