[SOLVED] Major FireFox Connection Problem

Friend said:

well my firefox is not loading up, i load it up and says the Connection has Timed out, but i can only connect to Hotmail.com and just another random site, things i've tried

*Restarted Internet Connection
*Repaird Local Area Connection
*Restarted Laptop
*Refreshed Firefox
*Tried using IE, Nothing
*Downgrading firefox

Its an Advent laptop and OS is XP

Any Suggestions?

Are use using a router it may be blocking secure sites and have you tries using internet explorer or another internet browser.Let me know

Hes tried using Internet Explore, no luck. If he is using a router you know how to unblock these secure websites? It was working fine last night.

All i can suggest is that he does a google search for the settings for his router or it may be his ISP may not be working for a while.Who is his ISP

Problem solved, we think it was a Trojan located in the Fraps folder.
