Can send but not receive Email in Thunderbird
Hi folks,
I can receive Email but when I try to send it I am asked for my password which I put in but then it is requested again and again in an endless loop with pauses in between each request while it goes and does something. I use the same password to log in at the start of the session and log in okay. I am trying to set up Thunderbird version 2.0.0.9 I am using Firefox Version 2.0.0.11 The op sys is XP Pro with SP2 I have no Anti Virus running I have added Thunderbird to the Exceptions in XPs' Firewall I have deleted everything that has to do with Norton Anti Virus (nothing in the reg) I have removed the program, went back to an earlier Restore point and reinstalled it with no luck. The ISP is DSL Extreme and I have gone through the settings with 3 techs who say everything is set correctly. If I should be using another forum please let me know.
