Thunderbird Issue: After restoring a profile, emails are listed but blank
This seems to be the place for Thunderbird too. Hope so.
I just re-installed my pc (downgrade from vista to xp). I have placed my backed up profile folder in the right spot and most all is working (address book, email password settings), however the emails that were in the profile are blank. They are all listed there, but when I select one it is blank. In the profile folder the folder sizes indicate that they still have a ton of data. But when I open one to read with a text editor I get no characters at all, just a bunch of empty characters. I have tried rebuilding the indexes. Didn't work. Tried compacting and rebuilding, didn't work. Any ideas? |
