[SOLVED] Copying Photos

I am using Mozilla Thunderbird as my email server. I want to copy some photos that a friend sent to me onto a CD but I can't figure out how to do it. I'm somewhat computer literate but I just need instructions I can follow. Thanks for helping.

Re: Copying Photos

Hi reenee Welcome to TSF.

Are these photos attached in an email as thumbnails (where you can only see them at a small size until you click on them) or are they full sized?

Re: Copying Photos

Alrighty Then.

First we need to save the pictures to your computer.

1. Right click on the first picture and select "Save Image as"
2. When the 'Save to' box opens, select your desktop and save the picture there.
3. Do the same for the remaining pictures.

They will now be on your desktop.

To burn them to CD, you will need a CD burner.

If you have one, then follow the steps below.

1. Hold the CTRL and click on each picture (if you click something else, continue holding the CTRL button and just click on the unwanted item again). This will select all your pictures. After all of them have been selected, release the CTRL button.
2. Right click on one of the selected pictures and select copy.
3. Click Start > My Computer > Double Click on your CD drive.
4. When it opens up, right click on the white area and select 'Paste'
5. Your selected pictures will appear and on the left of screen you should be able to see "Write these Files to CD". Insert a blank CD into the drive.
6. Click "Write these Files to CD"
7. Follow the prompts and burn your disk.
8. After finishing, your CD should automatically edject.
9. Put it back in and verify that it burnt successfully.
10. You may, if you wish, delete the pictures from your desktop.

If you need more information, please feel free to post back.
