Hi, All

Problem is when i go into Hotmail using the Mozilla Firefox browser and go to write a new email, the copy/paste icon never appears where it should - beside the Font Style, Font Size, Bold, Italic etc etc options.

Yet when i use Internet Explorer as my browser it always appears.

The problem is I always seem to use Mozilla as my main browser and when i type up a an email and want to paste something into the body of the email it highlights the whole message I have written and i cant paste anything,unless at the very start before I write the message i paste any stuff that needs to be pasted.

Any ideas for this ?

Also must add,I find Firefox on some sites much slower to load all the info on the page than IE,I have tried everything,deleted cookies,history etc etc, even uninstalled it and reinstalled it and still get the same problem.

When writing this message the icons at the top when writing a message for Bold,Italic,Font etc all took a good few seconds to loads compared to when I use IE for this.

When I clicked New Thread it took me 68 secs to fully load the page and show all the icons,it took pretty much all of the 68 secs for the icons to appear.
Whereas when I did it in IE it took 2 secs or so.

Anyway any help appreciated

Your security and Javascript settings might be causing problems. Check out your settings in Firefox and see if anything is unusual. You might want to look at your firewall, too.

Does hotmail have a choice of HTML? It won't show the Bold, underline, font, etc. if it isn't chosen for HTML sending. Maybe it isn't a default in FireFox and it is in Internet Explorer?

Not sure about the copy and paste . . . Control + A highlights the entire page/screen - be sure you aren't doing that by accident?
