Remotely Updating Firefox
I run a computer lab with over 150 computers that use Firefox. The computers are protected using the Deepfreeze program which prevents new installations. This causes a problem when Firefox tries to update automatically. I'm wondering if there is a command line or a batch file I can execute through the Deepfreeze console on the server to update Firefox remotely. All the computers run Win XP Pro SP2 and in addition to Deepfreeze, they are also managed using Symantec Ghost.
I'd appreciate any help anyone can offer. |
