[SOLVED] Thunderbird Setup
Hey everyone,
I downloaded Thunderbird a while back and have not been able to figure out how to set it up. What I don't get is how to determine my incoming and outgoing servers and the other things like that. If someone could post a guide as to how to find this information, I think it would be invaluable to the novices of setting up e-mail. |

Re: Thunderbird Setup
There is an add on for Hotmail. I think it was called webmail or something like that. Though the add on was very patchy (not the add ons fault - see my comments below) - one day it would work and the next day it wouldn't. The add on allowed you to receive and send hotmail emails just like pop3. Having said the above, I believe Microsoft was changing things all the time because there was constant updates to the add on and then after a time it stopped working until an update came through. I don't understand all the technical why's and why nots (and don't want to know) but in the end I decided hotmail is a pain in the rear end so I no longer use it. Bad luck for Microsoft...........they should change their policies. Probably got something to do with Windows "live".
