FireFox Won't Start Help!!

Hello,
I recently bought a laptop and installed everything on it including Firefox, sometimes firefox won't start and I just restart and it may start again. But now even if I restart the computer Firefox still runs in the Processes in Task Manager and I am unable to "End Task" .

Please help!

Perhaps it is a corrupt install. I would uninstall it then re-download and re-install it. Make sure you download it from the Mozilla website also.

Hi,
I've actually reinstalled it two times, it start ok right after install .. then after a few restarts the problem will reoccurr. Just now I turned on the laptop, checked my task manager, firefox was not in it, so I double clicked on firefox it didnt start, so i checked under my task manager again. There it was in the processes with around 2,000k Memory , the browser did not open and it won't let me end process!!

Very frustrating.

After uninstalling go into explorer (start menu right click explore) and go to C:/Program Files/Mozilla and delete every trace of Mozilla you can find. You might even need to run a search on the words firefox and mozilla.

This will make sure that there are no saved profiles listed and no corrupt files that might be causing firefox's strange activity.
