[SOLVED] Thunderbird + Hughesnet mail

I have just installed FF and TB. Thunder bird cannot acess my mail citing a password error. I have double and triple checked all settings verses windows mail and all are the same. Does TB just have compatibility issues w/Hughesnet? Or am I doing something wrong?

Sure no problem koala. My normal username in the setup needs to be user@hughes.net
I had put in just my user name (brain fart on my part) and took me some time to see it although I checked my incoming and out going mail clients multiple times. Just a sugestion, but initial setup should not be done while drinking large amounts of alcohol!

This is my first exposure to FF and TB and am learning while I go.

Not a problem, just a little embarassed when I saw what I had done. Been trying to fix it since early this morning before posting for help.
