Unable to access certain websites

My operating system is windows 2000. I use both Internet Explorer and Mozilla firefox 2 browsers. I recently used an advanced registry optimizer to clean out some errors on my laptop. I am still able to access msn.com using explorer; however, I get a bad request message when I use mozilla to accesss msn.com. I'm not sure what the issue is. Any suggestions?

i think the prob is that the settings of mozilla were killed. ty to set it up again.

On the mozilla browser I went to tools, options, settings, but I'm not sure what to check for. Any suggestions?
