Videos Stopping half-way through

Whenever I try to play a video from youtube, metacafe, etc. Most of the time the video plays and then at a random time it stops, the loading goes down to zero, and i cannot restart the video without refreshing the page, then when I refresh the same thing happens.

Any ideas? My friend said that it is probably an internet setting sor a cookie, but I deleted my cookies and still it happens.

I think this is also happening in IE but I am a FireFox user so thats why I posted this here

Re: Videos Stopping half-way through

I wish I knew the answer. It never happens to me, but does to a few friends. I thought it was an IE bug.

Re: Videos Stopping half-way through

What size is your browser cache? Do the videos play all the way through if you clear the cache before loading the video site? Check to see if it also happens in IE.

Re: Videos Stopping half-way through

This problem has happened to me in the past. Try to reinstall your flash player plug-in something could be wrong there. It could also be a problem with the videos buffering fully. Does the dark gray buffer stop at some point?

Re: Videos Stopping half-way through

no it finishes loading all the way through, then at some point the video stops short and the buffer goes down to zero
