view saved web page??!!??
Hello. I saved a web page using the 'save web page as' option on the FF browser. I don't recall what format it was saved as, but it was saved to a folder named with ".do_files" as part of its name. In the folder are various .js .gif .css (among others) files. Is there a way to view this folder as the web page I was trying to save? Thanks for listening...

Re: view saved web page??!!??
No... not changing the icon. I want to view the page that I was trying to save, but all I have are those individual files (.js, .gif, .css, etc). The page was not saved as an html, so I can't just click on it & see it. It was saved as a bunch of individual files that made up the page. It was a confirmation page for a business transaction I made online, and I was unable to print it at the time, so I wanted to save it to print out later. Thanks for your help.

So, you were trying to save a "secure" webpage, correct? I never had much success with that. Whenever, I tried saving a secure webpage, and open it later, it'd be blank or empty.

Re: view saved web page??!!??
There should be a html file in there, webrowsers can't save anything other single handedly. Search around and if you double-click the .html file in that folder you should have the webpage opened in your default browser. Keep all the files in the same folder.

Re: view saved web page??!!??
For the record, you do know that when you save a webpage, that there will be a folder that contains the pictures and stuff, and an html file, but the html file won't be inside that folder, it would be on the same level as the folder but not inside of it.
I guess the best way to explain would to have you save this webpage right now to your desktop, then you'll see what I mean. By the way, I'm guessing that you can't just go back to that webpage and view that transaction? |

What Kalim said. If there is no html file then Windows did its normal thing, eh?
![]() The html file ought to be right under the page folder, or very close.
