handle file types in firefox 2.0.0.7
I have noticed it become inconvenient to view certain file types from Firefox. For instance, when I click on a .jpg link, even when I choose Open instead of Save, I first have to download the file, then I have to go to the download page, then click "open." Same with .pdf files. I thought I could fix this by changing how firefox handles certain file types. Went to Tools/Options/Content/Manage File types and found --- nothing. No file types were registered. I could find no way to add any. I'm sure things did not always work this way.
How can I set firefox up more efficiently. Many thanks.... Tom Whedbee |
