PageUp PageDown Home End keys don't work in Firefox

I didn't make any changes or install anything addons but all of a sudden, the HOME, PAGE UP, PAGE DOWN and END keys don't work on Firefox. When I click on the page, a cursor will show up beside the text or picture, which is weird.... then when press any of the above keys, I got many funny reactions such as page up page down mixed up and couldn't get to the end of the page etc. The scroll bar still works using mouse.

Another problem is when I clicked on a tab, the tab will close itself. I need to use "restore closed tab" to bring it back.

Any idea? Virus?

I use 1.5.0.8 version with XP.

I just got this problem too. I can't find another thing on the web besides yours. Did you find any solutions? Thanks.

Wow, just found a solution. Can't believe it. Hit F7. Apparently it toggles something called "Taret Browsing". Works great now. I found it in the Firefox forums here:
