java web browser

i'm not quite sure if it's firefox or the computer as i also tried running it in IE... but i've been attempting to play a game a friend made that opens with java web browser, however with this, and other java applications it will pop up saying starting java and nothing will happen. i've been able to open all on another computer granted it runs on xp not vista so just wondering if anyone knows what's going on. if it helps here is the link to the game's website

Maybe the script is not compatible with Vista.

yeah i thought it might be the java combined with vista but i just upgraded java a while ago so maybe ill go try it again ^_^
