I have an odd problem. In WordPress, I created a post on July 20th. A day later, I accidentally edited the post, overwriting all of its content without realizing it. Only today did I discover my error and nowhere on my computer did I save a backup.
Is there any possible way I can gain access to a copy of what I wrote? Or is it forever lost in an abyss of the past? My website is only cached on Google up until July 15th, so that didn't help and archive.org has no results either. Is there any chance that I might be able to somehow dig up the post in my local browser cache? I am using FireFox and I haven't turned off my computer since making the post. Is there any sort of unorthodox method that I can use to retrieve my writing here or am I just screwed? |
