I can't view a website... (firefox, internet explorer)
Hey, this is an odd problem. I Have two computers connected to the wireless netgear router and my desktop connected directly through the cable.
Now I can access the internet just fine, get on games like theres no problem. However there is one website that I can not access from any three of the computers. I think its odd. I was on one of my games earlier, I said to a friend. "Hey how long has basilmarket.com been down." The reply was odd, "It's not, I'm on right now!" So why could the server for the site still be running and all my friends view the page but when I go I get "The connection has timed out The server at www.basilmarket.com is taking too long to respond. * The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection. * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web." I don't understand why it would just be me. I cleared all my cache on two of the computers and still nothing. Anyone have any ideas? |

Re: I can't view a website... (firefox, internet explorer)
Maybe you're IP banned? Is that a possibility? That's common with game fansites etc.
Try checking your hosts file and restricted sites for it. Also try pinging it in command prompt and using the IP directly. |
