Firefox Pop-up
Hi
, I have been using Firefox 1 for over six months, and just recently I noticed something really odd. Occasionally, when I am browsing through web pages (any web page - none in particular), I get this strange gray box that appears in the top left hand corner of the screen. ![]() It randomly comes and goes, and when I click on it, it doesn't do anything. I ran a virus scan and nothing has shown up, and it is a nuisance. If anybody has any ideas what this could be, I'd appreciate it! Thanks! |

Hi
That looks like a theme/addon problem or conflict. Firefox 1 is very old, so much so that I don't recall it's settings and don't have it installed to checkup. 6 months back Firefox 1.5 was being used. The Firefox with much advanced settings and security now in use is 2.0.0.4. I would advise you to uninstall the older version you have and install the new one. ![]() Can you clarify further which version it is by going into Help>About? |
