Connection Problems
I am running the latest version of Firefox on Windows XP Home (latest service pack), and up until last month, it was working fine. Now, however, I can't connect to any website using Firefox, although connections in Internet Explorer are fine. Connection settings are set to automatically detect my proxy settings, and when I try to open options now, Firefox crashes and needs to be closed down via Task Manager. Could someone please help?

Unless your connection is actually routed through a proxy-server (most home user connections are not) you should NOT tick this option. |
