black screen

I downloaded mozilla firefox 2.
When I click on mozilla icon I see a black screen for few seconds and after this I can see the home page of mozilla.
Also the icons on desktop are not clearly when I run mozilla.
What can I do?

Sorry but I do not speak good english.
If you understand me, please help.
