Error on start up.

Hi, I have a problem with Firefox that I hope you'll be able to help with.Whenever I click the firefox.exe it shows me an error that says, "The procedure entry point ?ListenerDed@nsCategoryObserver@@QAEXXZ could not be located in the dynamic link library xpcom_core.dll."

Any help would be great.

Re: Error on start up.

Thisone,

Have you tried starting Firefox in Safe Mode? If not try it, as sometimes the error can be caused by 3rd party extensions. Disable the extensions, then enable them one by one, and you may find an offending extension.

Re: Error on start up.

Thanks for replying, I have ran my computer in safe mode and tried it but it still doesn't even let me in the program. It also said something about nss3.dll not being found but I fixed that by running a registry cleaning program.
