Acrobat in Firefox

I've had lots of problems running Acrobat Reader in Firefox. The entire program takes very long to load, and 80% of the time if I try to do something else while it opens (such as open my AIM buddy list, or switch a song on iTunes - basically, anytime I go to another opens), my Firefox eventually crashes. I just tried re-intalling/updating Acrobat Reader, but it's still giving me these problems. Is this a problem with Firefox, Acrobat, or maybe something on my end?

All being well, Acrobat Reader should be OK. Maybe a clean uninstall and reinstall of Firefox might make a difference. Something else you might like to consider is trying another PDF reader. Uninstall Acrobat Reader and install Foxit Reader. This is suggested on this Mozilla page that talks about problems and speeding up Adobe Reader. I've been using Foxit for some time now and find it works very well.

If that is indeed happening after a reinstall your profile looks to be corrupting. It shouldn't happen and a new profile should resolve such matters.
