'The Inquirer' has an interesting article and map about Firefox usage in Europe. The last paragraph (below the map) gives some worldwide figures:

Thanks martt. I saw some official figures somewhere a week back stating the shift to Firefox is currently at 33% worldwide. Have no idea how accurate that was, but in some countries where the technological boom is starting, they mostly use FF not IE anymore.
