where does firefox keep the list of blocked cookies?

howdy... i can't seem to find the answer to this simple question. i accidentally deleted my list of cookie exceptions, specifically the ones to block. i don't want to type in a long list of exceptions ... if i knew where the file was, i could just get a list off of another computer. thanks.

thanks for the help ... it took me too long to find this info. it's an ascii file called hostperm.1 in the profile directory. they could have called it something like cookieexceptions.txt, but that would have been too easy. i think these guys are stuck in the 8-letter file name dos time warp .

There's an interesting Mozilla page here. If you scroll down to the 'Files' heading, it gives the names of files in the Profiles folder and a description of what they do.

I don't think any file names have been changed over the years. I expect those who help develop the browser and know it inside out have got used to them and might be upset if they were changed. Not so good if you're trying to find a particular file for the first time though . Hopefully the list might be of assistance next time.
