Where do I locate the bookmarks folder?

I'm planning on reformatting my hard drive and I'd like to save my firefox bookmarks onto CD so I can use them again after my drive has been formatted. What's the best way to do this?

Thanks for any help!

This is how I saved my bookmarks to CD
  • click bookmarks
  • manage bookmarks...
  • file
  • exports
  • then save it to your cd drive.

This is for version 1.5, if you are running version 2.0 it might differ slightly.

Great, thanks for the advice. The only question I have left is how do I reinstall the bookmarks?

Simple
  • click bookmarks
  • manage bookmarks...
  • file
  • import
  • select "from file" then next
  • select the file from the CD or where ever you have it saved
  • open

Hope this helps
