Even though this is a small problem, arnt they all, but it really bugs me, everytime I open firefox it opens in a small window, not too small, just not maximised. I was wondering if there is anyway I can open it straight away to be maximised screen?

Is the Firefox shortcut set to 'Maximized'?

Right-click on the shortcut and select, Properties > Run: Maximized.

It could need the same remedy as posted here. A corrupt localstore.rdf file can also affect the Window size not being remembered. It's probably easiest to close Firefox and just delete the file from the Profiles folder. Then let Firefox create a new copy of it on startup. You'd need to re-customise any toolbar settings after deletion but hopefully, everything would be OK after that.

File location:
C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxxxxx\localstore.rdf

(xxxxxxxxxxx represents a string of random letters and numbers)

Does FF open in the same mode it was closed in if you set Properties to Normal window?
