Unable to download...anything

When I hit "save target as..." it does nothing

I have been getting a lot of this error in the error log. I know this is a problem with firefox because it still works with IE.

I deleted the downloads.rdf file in C:\Documents and Settings\elf\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles and now it works again.
