Command FF to stop loading after 20 seconds...

How do I tell FF to stop loading a page automatically after 20 seconds?

Ebay item pages continue to display the loading indicator in place of the icon or favicon.

The status bar says "Read include.ebaystatic.com" or "Transferring data from thumbs.ebaystatic.com...". Page seems to have loaded completely but tab is still displays loading circle. Is it just me?

I want to use the FF extension Check4change but the page needs to complete loading for this to work. BTW, Im using FF 2. Thanks.

I think that could be because not all images come from the same server, or probably even the same part of the world. If there's something wrong anywhere, then the page can't load what it need but it keeps trying anyway. It might be an image that is so small you'd hardly notice it's absence. Maybe even an invisible 'bot' type. Not sure about that though.

If you stop the page from loading with the browser 'Stop' button, can you then continue and use the extension?

Yes. the C4C extension works when I hit the STOP on my browser. But I would have to do it every time... Checking eBay auctions in the last five minutes is crucial.
