Mozilla has a number of suggestions regarding the browser crashing:

http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_crashes

Just a reminder that upgrading to the latest version of Firefox won't make any difference to the error message if the problem lies in the Profiles folder. This folder isn't affected by un-installation, re-installation or upgrading. If you follow the 'standard diagnostic' link in the Mozilla page, it does go through a number of Profile related steps. Ultimately, you may need to create a new Profile to cure the problem but follow the guide and see if it helps.

You could just try starting Firefox in Firefox's Safe Mode to see if the trouble is related to extensions.

To J200611158 Firefox Error Report

I get that error all the time. I have learned to live with it, like spam that promises to increase my husbands sexual potency, heels that come off shoes when out shopping or when my mother rings up as we are about to have tea......just for a chat. So if Firefox feel they need to inform me that they have encountered a problem, thats their worry, I have enough worries of my own without having to sort theirs out as well, thank you very much. I ignore them!
