iMovie bomb on load
I am using iMovie 3.0.3 with 10.3.9. 640 MB RAM. iMac 700 MHz G4. Hard drive is no where near full. Ever since I began using iMovie to edit home video I have noticed that the program will often fail to load. That is, I click to open the program, it displays the interface with the main movie window showing the last project, but, before it can load the rest of the clips in the project the whole program disappears. Just, boom, it's gone. I get a window that says it quit unexpectedly and asking if I want to submit a report. If I reopen the program, sometimes it will load successfully, sometimes I have to try a couple times. Has anyone else seen this behavior? What might be the cause? Other than Internet Explorer, iMovie is the only unstable program on my machine.
