Network folders
Hey guys I have one mac in my office that I am setting up for our graphic design department. I was wondering if you could let me how to get a network folder shortcut on the desktop. When on open the folder it is put on there but once the computer restarts the folder is gone and you have to go all the way back through finder to get to the network path. Any help would be great. Thanks

well, when you goto 'go>connect to server' in the finder, enter the server info in the 'server address:' and click the '+' button. now its in the fav list, and anytime you click on it, it should mount. other thing is that once you have it mounted on the desktop, click and drag it to the dock. when you let go, it should now make an icon to the left of the trash can. now when ever you click on that, it will mount. remember that you must tell it to remember user and pw, other wise it will ask when it is mounted for the first time.
