iPod is screwed up

Hey all, some might remember me, this is my second thread about my iPod :/
I have the 20GB iPod, U2 speacial edition and well, it's not going well and I really need help.
Just yesterday I plugged my iPod for transfer new songs in it (95new ones).
Then it said it was ok to disconnect and whne I did, 5 were missing.
I plugged it back and iTunes just froze until I disconnected my iPod ("Do no Disconnect" was still on the screen). Since then, I can't play any music from my iPod anymore :(
When I choose a song to play, nothing happens and I feel the inside of the iPod, like stuff movie while selecting a song.
I wonder what I should do, hope there's someone to help me!
Thanks,
Legendary.

P.S. If you have MSN, please add me to masterdevil3@hotmail.com in case you know what to do. thx!

have you reset the ipod yet? if that doesn't help, then the next thing to try is to reflash the ipod. !!!this will erase all info on the ipod!!! download the lastest ipod sw installer and connect you ipod to the computer. launch the sw and tell it to restore the ipod. be sure to follow all instructions it gives you. if that doesn't work, then its time to take it to apple and let them fix it. remember, never unplug an ipod from the computer if the screen says "do not dissconnect', even if the computer is off, or you will mess the ipod up.always use itunes to dismount the ipod. if itunes doesn't work, on the mac, drag the ipod icon to the trash. on windows, open "my computer', right click on the ipod and select dissconect/safly remove hw. if the computer is off, turn it back on and then dismount as instructed above.

I've got somethin' similar wrong with my 4G 20GB...

Hey, qmjhlpei....

I've got somethin' similar wrong with my 4G 20GB....I just updated it w/ the 01-2006 update, and it's wanting me to plug it into a wall adapter....I've tried both a FiWi adapter and a Monster Cable car adapter, and it still shows the plug-in icon......my computer won't even recognize the ipod when I plug it in......what the heck do I need to do?
