Re: Need help in Inatslling windows

Well, to do you, you have to have the following:
1) A Mac with an Intel CPU.
2) OS X 10.5 installed on the Mac, and have that OS X install DVD on hand.
3) A retail copy of Windows XP with SP2 complete installer for a PC with no operating system on one disk.
If you have those, then what you do is goto your Utilities folder in the Applications folder on the Mac's hard drive and run Boot Camp. It will partition your hard drive to allow you to dual boot the Mac. You should give Windows at least 30GB of space if you are just looking to run Windows some. If you are going to use it a lot more, then give it more room, as when booted into Windows, you will not be able to see the OS X part of the hard drive. Boot Camp will ask you to put the Windows install disk in the Mac and then reboot to the install disk. Install Windows on the part of the disk you set aside for it, making sure that the size of the disk you install Windows on is the same size as the one you made with Boot Camp. It shouldn't even see the Mac OS, but you never know. Once Windows is installed, and you are at the desktop, eject the Windows install disk and put in the OS X install disk, and then install the hardware drivers, and you should be good to go.
