EEK! Rotated Prints

I am having serious printing problems.

My computer keeps rotating my prints. I've tried printing in portrait orientation on 3 different printers and my prints keep coming out as landscape. If I want to print something in portrait I have to set the print to landscape orientation.

I've uninstalled all my printers and reinstalled them. I have also uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them. Nothing seems to work. Is there any other reason that this might be happening?

Re: Rotated Prints

What kind of files are you printing? Does it happen to everything you print, or just photos? Check the app that is making the files, as it may be imbedding rotation information in the file.

Re: Rotated Prints

It was happening with all types of files. I actually fixed the problem... partially. As a last resort I reset the printing system. I then reinstalled the printers and the problem seemed to be fixed. The good thing is all new files I create print fine. Unfortunately, it seems as though any old file that I printed remains corrupt and continues to print upside down. The corrupted files are mainly Vectorworks files. Vectorworks is a Architectural Drafting program like AutoCAD. As a result I have had to create new files and copy and past all my work from the old file. This process seems to get rid of the corrupt file. It's weird a problem and I feel as though I found a work around, but I don't feel as if I found the cause.

Re: Rotated Prints

That is odd. But at least you did find a solution.
