Using Powermac G3 as Personal File Server

I am using a Powermac G3 B&W as a file sharing server for my home network. It is registered on the network under 192.168.0.3 however when I try and Map Network Drive on my windows box (which has file/printer sharing enabled) it says it cannot connect. Any help getting it connected would be splendid.

Other info:
I have a file sharing folder titled "SERVER" on the desktop of a Mac OS 9 machine. File sharing on the folder is enabled.

It is a 10 year old machine, and is in working condition.

I can use the internet on this Powermac.

Re: Using Powermac G3 as Personal File Server

The problem is that you can not connect to an OS 9 server from Windows. I have never found a way to do it myself. The closest thing I did once was turn web serving on in OS 9 and then ftp to the Mac from Windows, but that can mess with your internet connection.
