iMac G5 Issue

I have an iMac G5 (iSight) and want to download a game onto it, the Sims 3. Every time I click on the icon, though, it flashes, the icon comes out superimposed as though it is opening but nothing happens. My brother told me to drag the installer icon into the hard drive where it would automatically install itself. However, it continues to not work. I have had this problem before, with another game called Spore. My copy of World of Warcraft works fine though. Please help.

THe Sims 3 will not work on your iMac. You have to have an Intel based Mac with at least a Core 2 Duo in it.
