[SOLVED] Windows LAN
If I have a windows and a mac on the same network, and I make a folder shared on the windows pc, will I be able to access it on the mac?

Make sure the Windows folder is shared and you should be able to see this folder on the Mac with out a problem. Go to the network Icon in Finder and look for the Windows computer, you may need to enter the password to allow the share.
