When I bought my mac it came with imovie, but it never worked, I found another imovie called iMovie 19-05-47 that came on the hard drive with it, But when I opened it it came up with an error and did not work. So I deleted the iMovie to see if it might make it work, but iMovie 19-05-47 came up with 'You cannot use this version of the application iMovie with this version of Mac OS X.'
So i still don't have an iMovie. Please help!!!!! |

Re: imovie help!!!!
THe iMovie that came with the Mac should of worked just fine. You need to pull out the disks that came with your Mac and reinstall iMovie from it.

Re: imovie help!!!!
I finally finished editing my 1.5 hour movie on iMovie09 and then sent it to IDVD to get it ready to burn. It took 2 hours to finish and then it said that my project exceeds the max cduration and asked that I change the encoder settings which I did. Now I had to start all over again and it looks like another 2 hours. Am I doing something wrong? Is there an easier way?

Re: imovie help!!!!
Nope nothing wrong, but you can bring up a window that will show how much is in your DVD and how much room is free on the DVD with the option to change the encoding. I just am not sure where that is in iMovie09, as I don't like it and still use iMovieHD, but it's under Project details in iMovieHD.
