iMac Help
I did have an old iMac which runs on OS panther, (OSX9) but when I got my macbook I gave my old iMac to my gran. I set it all up for them, but when I try and connect it to their internet (they have dial up...) it keeps ringing and then says the line is engaged, and it won't connect up.
Apparently it's been asking them for the software installation disk, but I never got one with the mac. Can anyone help me out please? It'd be greatly appreciated! Thanks |

Re: iMac Help
What kind of software disk is it asking for, could you get the error word for word? Also, is it running OS X or OS 9? They are two very different OSes. Also, which iMac is it? And have you installed the ISP's software?
