aol email delivered to Spam
Hello,
I have a MAC OS X Ver 10.4.1, Tiger, processor 2.16 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo, Tiger, Firefox and Safari.I do not have a firewall, I allow pop ups. Several days ago I noticed that my e mail, even from the senders from whom it was always delivered to"new email" could be found only in "Spam." This is true regardless whether I use AOL for MAC software or access AOL e mail from the WEB. Could anybody advise me how to solve this problem?.May be uninstalling AOL software and installing a new copy would help but I do not know how to remove it.(fully)? |

Re: aol email delivered to Spam
Well, the filtering is done my the AOL servers, not your Mac, so there isn't really anything you can do, except look in your junk folder via the web and tell it that those messages are not junk. I don't use AOL, so I don't know how to do that. But I do use Hotmail, Google, and FastMail, and they all have a box that I can check next to the email and then a pulldown menu or button to click to tell it that it is not junk, or that it is a save message.
