help installing a shared printer
i have OSX 5.5.5 on my macbook. want to use an hp color laserjet 1600 which is shared on pc running win xp pro. the macbook sees the shared printer on the pc but will not print.
is it because this printer is not supported by Mac? didn't find ay drivers for Mac on the hp website. |

If HP doesn't have drivers, then yes, the Mac will not be able to print to it. And this printer isn't listed on the list of GIMP-Print printers either, so that unix print system will not help either.
