memory usage?
I've got a 2.4 2GB macbook and just downloaded the istat widgets.
It says: Wired 398mb active 499 inactive 942 free 37mb why am i using so much memory right now i have i tunes, frostwire, and firefox open. Should I upgrade to 4GB |

What you really want to look at is the page in/page out size. As long as the page out size is small compaired to the page in size you are okay. If the page out size grows a lot faster then the page in size, then you need more RAM.

istat will show that page in/out, as it's what I use. But you have to go into the settings, click on the sections tab, then advanced in the pull down next to memory.
