Just bought a macbook
So I just came home with my first mac, a new macbook.
I went in to buy a 2.0, and left with a 2.4 with 2GB ram. I'm going to see how well it runs before I upgrade to more ram. So far I like it, but I'm a first time mac user and could use some help .. Maximize? ? ? can I make windows larger? Screensavers? I downloaded marine aquarium 2.6, and drug it into the screen savers file in my library. How do I select it, or any other screen saver I've downloaded for example. I'm using wallsaver, and thought the aquarium would be cool as a background. Thanks, Neil |

Re: Just bought a macbook
Upper left of each window (far left on the title bar), green button. Yellow will minimize it to the dock. Red will close the window. You can also resize windows by dragging the lower right corner of the window (the little box with diagonal lines).
Never used Wallsaver, but I'm fairly sure it just does what a fairly long terminal command does (just easier). To change screen savers, go to the Apple Menu (upper left hand corner of your screen), then System Preferences -> Desktop & Screen Saver -> Screen Saver. System Preferences should also be in your dock and in Macintosh HD -> Applications -> Utilities.

Re: Just bought a macbook
For some reason, when I go to system preferences, then to desktops and screensavers it locks up.
I have no idea, I tried deleting the wallsaver application, but still no luck. At the bottom list of available screensavers it says "flag" any input? |
